Ground anchors are designed to varying lengths and diameters. The engineered retention loads and capacities are vast. The ground anchor is comprised of the bond length (bL) which includes the corrugated area placed within the bonding zone. The bond zone is that area calculated to be the most competent for the purpose of anchoring. The Free Length (fL) is comprised of the length of anchor continuing from the bonded length to the lock-off nut/ barrel & wedge retainers on the surface.
Specialist Site Services use all available data to ensure the successful installation of each ground anchor. Our use of pressure grouting prior to anchor installation can assist with increasing the bonding of the anchor in otherwise compromised strata. We install Permanent, temporary and multi strand anchors, high tensile bar, pre and post grouted, pre and post tensioned anchoring systems.
